Microgaming announces a record-breaking jackpot win on its millionaire-maker slot, Mega Moolah.

Known for its massive pay-outs, and life-changing wins, Microgaming’s Mega Moolah has created another instant millionaire, but this time it’s larger than ever before.

On October 7th 2015, just after midnight, UK Betway player Jonathon Heywood hit the mega jackpot, winning £13,213,838.68. Using the exchange rate on the day of the win, this is the equivalent of €17,879,645.12*, making it the largest ever online slot win. As with all Microgaming’s progressive jackpot wins, the astonishing amount will be paid out to the player in a lump sum.

Jonathon, a 26-year-old soldier from Cheshire, couldn’t believe his luck when the life-changing figure splashed up on his screen. But he still managed to make it in to work just hours later!

The lucky winner, Jonathon Heywood, commented: "It’s all so surreal, and I can’t come to terms with it just yet, I just kept staring at my screen and seeing this huge number in my Betway account".

Betway’s spokesman, Alan Alger, added: "We are delighted for Jonathon and having met him the day after his win we can honestly say that it couldn’t happen to a nicer young man. We hope he really enjoys the World Record win".

Roger Raatgever, CEO of Microgaming, commented: "We have the longest-standing progressive jackpot network, having launched the first internet progressive jackpot in 1998, as well as the biggest, having paid out over half a billion euros to date. Our progressive jackpot network has set many records since its inception, but I’m absolutely overjoyed to say that our software has generated the world’s largest ever online jackpot win. Many congratulations to Jonathon on this life-changing and historic win!"

Microgaming’s Mega Moolah Jackpot has been hit by a Spin Palace Casino player; Jorge S has won a mammoth 2,384,388.87 Euros!

Jorge S hit the Mega Moolah jackpot on the evening of Wednesday 18th June. Amazed as this mind-blowing sum flashed upon his computer screen, Jorge’s reaction when Spin Palace’s host called to congratulate him on his jackpot win was "Is this for real, did I win? I can’t believe it, how can it happen like this?"

A spokesperson from Spin Palace said: "As a regular player on Spin Palace Casino, we are overjoyed that Jorge S has hit the jackpot and won such an enormous amount! A big congratulations to him on behalf of the entire team at Spin Palace."

Jorge S. is one of a number of Spin Palace players to have hit the jackpot on Mega Moolah, Microgaming’s largest progressive slot. Other winners include Gary L who won £3,744,513.08 – the largest ever jackpot win on a mobile device!

Melon Madness Makes For A Mega Money Drop

Posted by Gambling News | Casino News,Gambling News | Saturday 30 March 2013 10:13 am

One of the reasons we enjoy playing slots so much, is the massive prizes that can be won. Even though the odds are low, every now and then another online winner land a prize that literally takes our breath away. The latest in a long line-up of these wins has become a history maker.

A 49-year old family man recently went to the "Party" branded website to play some online poker. He was keen to meet the requirements for the Montreal World Poker Tour. While he was there he decided to play the Melon Madness slot in the casino section of the site. Just as well he listened to this "inner-voice" because it cost him a $3 wager to land a staggering prize of $7,525,851. This was the progressive jackpot prize in a five-reel, thirty pay-line video slot that had been growing for quite a long while. Imagine a pop-up appearing on your screen, telling you, you had won this amount of money?

Lady luck has smiled on many such people, and more so since we have been able to play slots games online. In this instance we now have the largest ever recorded online slots prize at Party Casino, which is even better publicity for the Party brand. The nice thing about Melon Madness however, is the game is actually seeded with a progressive jackpot prize of $1,500,000. So anyone could go back right now to play, win, and still become an instant millionaire. They call this the "Big One Colossal Cash Jackpot".

In another huge online windfall; a 31 year old UK man recently landed a €3.1 Million, on the Mega Fortune Slot Jackpot. How do you like them apples? The father of two was wagering £2.50 per spin on Valentine’s Day, and recons this is the best Valentines gift he ever gave to his wife and children – saying it will be a hard one to top. We agree, but this is also not the largest progressive prize paid out by Net Entertainment ‘s Mega Fortune video slot.

Only a short while ago, this company saw one member win, the BIGGEST online slots prize that has EVER been given away. If you think that $7.5 million is a great deal of money, how would you feel about winning €17.8 Million? Yes… this is no exaggeration. On January the 20th 2013, 40-year old man from Helsinki landed this prize. This new world record came close on the heels of €6.9 Million win, and there is one thing that we can be sure of – online slots games are leading the way in making instant millionaires out of many players who are willing enough to buy a ticket in it to win it.

A Norwegian player has landed a staggering 7,3 million euro jackpot playing Net Entertainment’s Hall Of Gods™ video slot on Betsson.

The man in his forties landed the monster sum playing online on Tuesday 23rd October and the life-changing win is the second multi-million euro jackpot to be paid out on Hall of Gods™ slot this year.

Hall of Gods™ allows players to immerse themselves in an ancient Viking world where players can win free spins before smashing their way to riches with Thor’s hammer in bonus games to win one of three jackpots.

Since last year Net Entertainment games have paid out more than €29 million in jackpot wins and that figure could soon be extended as another Net Entertainment game, Mega Fortune™, has a jackpot currently exceeding €6.8 million.

Net Entertainment’s progressive jackpot games are proving more popular than ever as substantial jackpots are building up quicker and falling more frequently.

“The high liquidity offered by Net Entertainment progressive slots helps jackpots build extremely quickly and they are a fantastic acquisition tool for operators. We would like to congratulate the winner on his huge success and we look forward to hopefully making many more millionaires in the coming months” said Per Eriksson, President and CEO of Net Entertainment.
